Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3 years of experience in care and maintenance of buildings/grounds.
• Must be able to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
• Successful completion of prescreening investigation and verification of credentials.

Responsibilities

• Carries away debris and keeps grounds free of trash.
• Mows lawns, prunes trees and shrubs, fertilizes, tills, sodding, snow removal as needed.
• Lifts, loads, and unloads materials and equipment into/out of trucks.
• Makes pickups and deliveries as needed.
• Reports unsafe or hazardous conditions on Authority property or buildings.
• Uses small hand tools and implements such as rakes, shovels, pliers, hedge clippers, power mowers, trimmers.
• Prepares and cleans up vacant units, job sites, work areas, and equipment.
• Assists central maintenance crews and may drive a truck carrying tools and materials.
