Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate maintenance activities across our full-scale production facility. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and cost-effective operation of manufacturing equipment.

The successful candidate will manage a team of technicians, enforce safety policies, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices. Working knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E and mechanical/electrical systems is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in a maintenance leadership role within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting with complex mechanical and electrical systems.
Electrical trade experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance activities with safety, environmental compliance, and operational discipline.
Enforce compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements (electrical safety, lockout/tagout, etc.).
Promote a safety culture by identifying hazards and reinforcing safe behaviors.
Lead, coach, and supervise maintenance technicians with clear direction and accountability.
Develop team capability through coaching and reinforcement of standard work practices.
Facilitate effective shift handoffs to maintain priorities and continuity.
Ensure equipment reliability to maximize production uptime and minimize downtime.
Plan, prioritize, and execute corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
Establish and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs to extend asset life.
