Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to perform technical and preventive maintenance across the community, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves diagnosing issues, completing work orders, and supporting the make-ready process for new move-ins.

The position requires 3–5 years of experience in property maintenance, EPA HVAC certifications, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including on-call evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for HVAC work as required.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building systems following safety standards and codes.
• Complete resident work orders and routine maintenance tasks.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Inspect and ensure grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar standards.
• Monitor and audit contractor work to ensure quality and cost control.
