Job Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor-Property Management for a direct hire opportunity in San Ramon, CA. This role is ideal for a hands‑on property maintenance leader who takes pride in keeping residential or commercial properties safe, attractive, efficient, and well maintained.

This position will supervise daily maintenance operations, guide maintenance technicians, coordinate vendor work, and partner closely with property management teams to deliver dependable service to residents, tenants, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily property maintenance operations, including service requests, repairs, inspections, preventive maintenance, and project follow‑up.
• Lead, support, and mentor maintenance technicians while promoting safe work practices, quality standards, and timely completion of assignments.
• Coordinate with property management teams to prioritize work orders, communicate repair status, and support resident or tenant satisfaction.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, equipment, and common areas to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and improvement opportunities.
• Schedule, monitor, and evaluate vendor and contractor work to ensure services are completed accurately, safely, and within expectations.
• Maintain maintenance records, inventory controls, compliance documentation, and clear communication regarding property conditions and operational needs.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $85,000 to $95,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Supervise property maintenance operations and ensure timely completion of work orders, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Lead maintenance technicians, assign daily priorities, and support quality workmanship across the property.
• Coordinate with property management, vendors, and contractors to resolve maintenance needs and support property operations.
• Monitor building systems, grounds, common areas, and safety conditions to help maintain a professional property environment.
• 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential, multifamily, commercial, or property management environments.
• Prior experience leading, supervising, or mentoring maintenance staff.
• Strong knowledge of general building maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and safety practices.
• Ability to coordinate vendors, evaluate completed work, and communicate clearly with property management teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage work orders, priorities, documentation, and follow‑up.
• Professional communication style with a customer‑service mindset and a commitment to resident or tenant satisfaction.
• Hands‑on leadership approach with sound judgment, accountability, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in property management maintenance, multifamily housing, commercial real estate, or facilities maintenance.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, and general building systems.
• Experience using work order systems, maintenance tracking tools, or property management software.
• Familiarity with safety compliance, inspections, vendor management, inventory control, and preventive maintenance planning.
