Vital to maintaining properly functioning facilities, the Maintenance Project Manager ensures that R&S locations remain safe, operational, and cost-effective. This role requires flexibility, problem-solving, and accountability while managing multiple maintenance and facility improvement projects. The Maintenance Project Manager may perform hands-on work or oversee employees, contractors, and service providers as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The Maintenance Project Manager is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Overseeing facility maintenance, repairs, and improvements across multiple locations.
• Managing employees, vendors, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA, building codes, and local/state regulations.
• Developing and executing maintenance plans to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Tracking and reporting on project progress, budget performance, and contractor compliance.
• Identifying facility improvement opportunities and proposing at least one initiative per quarter.
• Prioritizing and responding to urgent maintenance issues while maintaining adaptability.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborating with leadership to align maintenance strategies with company objectives.

Fundamental Job Requirements:

The Maintenance Project Manager must be able to perform the following tasks, with or without accommodations:

• Standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods while overseeing work across multiple locations.
• Lifting and carrying loads of up to 50 pounds.
• Climbing ladders, bending, and accessing confined spaces as needed for facility inspections.
• Proficient use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, project tracking, and reporting.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with employees, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
