Job summary

fairlife, LLC, based in Chicago, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance operations across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams. You will prioritize work orders, drive preventive maintenance, and partner with operations to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include overseeing work order tracking in the CMMS, managing spare parts and contracts, and mentoring maintenance staff while ensuring OSHA and safety guidelines are

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years in maintenance leadership or supervisory role.
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily maintenance activities across teams.
• Address maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and oversee systems for work orders, preventive maintenance, and parts history.
• Manage inventories and purchase materials.
• Solicit bids for outside contract work and supervise contractors.
• Support hiring, scheduling, development of maintenance staff.
• Maintain documentation of coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure safety compliance (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
