Job summary

Paycom seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for the Weiler Forestry Facility in LaGrange, GA. You will manage day-to-day maintenance of facility, equipment, and machinery, guiding technicians and coordinating repairs and improvements.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a background in mechanical/electrical systems. You will enforce safety standards and manage contractor work as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred with technical training in plant maintenance.
• 10 years related experience and prior supervisory experience required.
• Experience with PLCs, robots, and high-speed doors.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative and unplanned maintenance of the building, equipment, plant facilities.
• Installs, moves, and repairs equipment and utilities within the building.
• Arrange for and manages third-party contractor support as needed.
• Create BOM along with project plan for maintenance projects.
• Works with management to meet company goals.
• Keeps in compliance with Building Code Regulations.
• Enforce safety and housekeeping practices.
• Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, directing work; appraising performance.
• Investigate and source parts, technical documentation to repair machinery; work with vendors to resolve maintenance items.
• Provide troubleshooting solutions on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of planning systems, manufacturing operations, facilities, methods, and tooling.
• Maintain the workflow process (PM and repair planning, scheduling, execution, and auditing).
• Track expenses and oversee cost effective solutions for addressing plant / equipment repairs.
