Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum five years maintenance experience in a machine shop.
• Minimum three years supervisory experience in a union shop (preferred).
• Strong computer skills and ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision of maintenance personnel.
• Promotes a safety-conscious work environment.
• Hires and trains maintenance department staff.
• Determine schedules and assignments based on priority and skill.
• Monitor inventories and maintenance shop conditions; order parts.
