Union Electric Steel Corporation in Burgettstown, PA seeks a Maintenance Foreman to oversee electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot machine issues, and lead a union shop workforce. You will supervise daily maintenance activities, manage safety, and drive reliability improvements across shop operations.

Ideal candidates have strong PLC/CNC/NC knowledge, hands-on leadership, CMMS/Oracle experience, and the ability to read blueprints and machine codes.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years machine shop maintenance experience.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a union shop preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to use CMMS, Oracle.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance personnel and ensure safety.
• Oversee electrical, mechanical repairs and diagnostics on machines.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of failures.
• Schedule work and manage maintenance records and inventories.
• Assist in budgeting for repair projects and capex planning.
• Maintain compliance and quality in maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with operators and departments to ensure uptime.
