Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor responsible for the safe and effective execution of maintenance activities to support plant reliability, safety, and production performance. This role leads technicians, manages the weekly schedule, and ensures high-quality CMMS data and process discipline.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, experience with CMMS-driven maintenance, and knowledge of electrical systems and PLCs, ideally in a food manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field.
• Experience in CMMS-driven maintenance environments preferred.
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance across maintenance activities.
• Lead day-to-day maintenance execution and ensure schedule adherence (>90%).
• Coach and develop technicians; conduct skills assessments and training.
• Coordinate with Planning and Operations to optimize job plans and parts readiness.
• Track KPIs (schedule compliance, PM completion, downtime) and drive continuous improvement.
• Backlog management and root-cause feedback to RCFA/PM optimization.
