Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Wayland, MI plant's maintenance team and oversee daily maintenance operations for safe, reliable production. The role requires managing a group of technicians, scheduling preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime while complying with safety standards.

You will guide maintenance planning, document activities, and participate in root-cause analyses to prevent recurrences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes.
• Familiarity with SAP and inventory management systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure proper maintenance practices and timely repairs.
• Assign tasks and prioritize maintenance activities based on urgency and criticality of equipment.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to reduce equipment downtime and increase reliability.
• Monitor and schedule regular inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and calibration of machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate and prioritize emergency repairs, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
• Ensure that maintenance activities comply with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and assist in implementing corrective actions to resolve safety issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation on all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective action to prevent reoccurrence of problems.
