A leading company in Scarborough seeks a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations with a focus on predictive maintenance, continuous improvement, and safety compliance. The role involves budget management and strategic planning within the engineering team, requiring a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience. The Maintenance Manager is a member of the Plant Management Team and has full accountability for maintenance activities.
This position supervises a local team of mechanics, line technicians, and cleaning room operators across three shift operations.
Key activities for this position include leading maintenance and reliability processes focused on achieving operational excellence, developing and implementing strategies to enhance the skills of our maintenance team, and improving maintenance capabilities to increase equipment reliability and reduce repair and maintenance costs.
The role also involves driving Canadian Supply Chain strategies and continuous improvement objectives, collaborating closely with the Project Engineer Team and technical personnel to develop training and assessment programs, and impacting safety, quality, profitability, efficiency, OEE, cost management, customer satisfaction, innovation, and LEAN methodologies.
