Job summary
Zekelman Industries is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead a team of skilled technicians, ensuring reliable, safe operation of plant equipment. You will drive preventive maintenance programs, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate downtime effectively.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial maintenance, supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years in industrial maintenance with path to supervisor.
- Experience leading a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Welding/fabrication experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor maintenance technicians to ensure safe, reliable operations.
- Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of plant equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Enforce OSHA and safety policies across the team.
- Coordinate downtime and emergency repairs to minimize production impact.
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement for maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams on improvements.
