Job description

Our client is a growing solar manufacturing company and they are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead their maintenance operations in a highly automated production environment. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who can balance people leadership, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance activities for production equipment
• Oversee installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of automated systems
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Support and maintain PM/PD programs using CMMS software
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and leadership on process improvements
• Monitor parts inventory, costs, and departmental budgets
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and report progress to management
• Provide hands‑on technical support to production teams as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Develop, motivate, and lead a team of maintenance technicians

Qualifications Required:

• 2–3+ years of experience in a maintenance leadership role (18+ direct reports)
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
• Working knowledge of PLCs and industrial PCs (Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCAT)
• Experience with CMMS, scheduling, reporting, and resource planning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
