Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the community's standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality across buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose resident requests, repair defects, and support the make-ready process for leasing new homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related experience.
• Experience in property/maintenance work.
• Own hand tools; use tools safely.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read, write, and document information.
• Proficient with internet, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Math skills for administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in property structures and systems.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units; inspect and schedule repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of grounds and buildings.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality.
• Maintain inventory and assist with budgeting and cost control.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
