Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical/mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, and amenities meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

The role includes handling resident service requests, coordinating the make-ready process for vacant units, maintaining inventory and tools, and supporting budget adherence while upholding safety and EPA/OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication to interact with residents and team members.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to represent company management.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee and complete the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling contractors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and by contractors to ensure quality standards.
