Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Maintenance Technician for an on-site role in Kennesaw, GA. You will handle resident service requests, perform routine upkeep, and coordinate make-ready tasks for market-ready units.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools and safe tool use knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose problems and follow safety standards.
• Proficient in customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Proficient in internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform routine maintenance.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant units.
• Develop standards for grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by teammates and contractors for quality.
• Manage inventory and order supplies within budget.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance per policy.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Support cost-saving through material management and proper tool use.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Provide courteous, responsive service to residents and staff.
