Carter-Haston is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Leader to manage day-to-day maintenance at our Powell, TN community. The role includes mentoring staff, coordinating 24/7 emergency coverage, and ensuring units are market-ready.

Qualifications include HVAC/EPA certification, 1–3 years in multi-family maintenance, and strong leadership. On-site duties and flexible hours with potential for advancement.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years experience in Multi-family Property Management Maintenance or related field.
• HVAC/EPA Certification required.
• Pool Certification required.
• CAMT Certification Preferred or willingness to obtain upon employment.
• Proficiency with industry software systems; Onesite preferred.
• Proficiency with various hand and power tools; drywall/appliance/plumbing repair.
• Strong leadership and team management skills; able to train team members.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including on-call and after-hour rotations; weekends when needed.

Aufgaben

• Manage day-to-day maintenance operations for assigned community and mentor technicians and grounds staff.
• Process and schedule service requests within 24-hour policies; communicate action plans to residents.
• Coordinate Maintenance personnel to ensure 24/7 on-call coverage.
• Coordinate services such as trash collection, extermination, painting, and carpet work.
• Implement emergency procedures with Community Manager.
• Update boards and ensure vacant units are market-ready.
• Perform preventative maintenance and recruit/train staff.
• Conduct daily property walks and ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
• Manage budgets, inventory, and vendor coordination.
• Fill in as Assistant Service Manager, Service Technician, Groundskeeper, or Housekeeper as needed.
