Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team across the property in Reno, Nevada. You will oversee daily maintenance tasks, coordinate preventative work, and ensure safety standards.

The role requires HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge, strong communication, and supervisory experience. You will manage inventory, vendor work, and on-call response to service requests, while supporting residents and property goals.

Formación

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
• Strong communication and relationship skills.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule daily maintenance tasks and prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and recommending for service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel with the manager.
• Train service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Improve processes and maintenance methods.
• Maintain MSDS sheets and replacement logs.
• Hold the maintenance team accountable for attendance and performance.
• Schedule and assist in vendor work.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and delivery of supplies for service, custodial and grounds.
• Ensure OSHA standards and safety policies are followed.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and provide 24-hour response.
• Be available on an on-call basis.
• Report unusual circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
