Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and oversee daily tasks, preventive maintenance, and safety at properties. The role involves coordinating with the community manager, supervising vendors, and ensuring timely repairs and upkeep.

The position is full-time, offering $20.00 to $22.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits including health programs, a retirement plan with employer match, paid holidays, and professional development

Qualifications

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and making recommendations for service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Assist in training of service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Take initiative to improve processes and maintenance methods.
• Maintain MSDS sheets and replacement logs.
• Ensure OSHA standards and company safety policies are followed.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and provide 24-hour response to service requests.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
