Description
As the Maintenance Supervisor Nights, you will be responsible for the direct supervision and development of the Maintenance team, completion of work orders, and the development and execution of a comprehensive predictive maintenance program for all equipment and facilities.
A Taste of the Role:
- Working closely with production by utilizing the maintenance management system and real-time measurement (OEE), establish procedures, schedules, and resource deployment to ensure equipment is maintained at a high level to achieve production requirements efficiently and timely.
- Ensuring that an overall preventative/predictive maintenance system is developed and implemented through collaboration with production, planning, and staff to meet system requirements and ensure maintenance tasks are completed according to schedules and budgets, with documented records.
- Collaborating with the Maintenance Manager to ensure ongoing assessment and skills development for all maintenance staff.
- Conducting meetings with maintenance staff to review previous shifts and current plans.
- Investigating and solving production problems related to equipment, maintenance, and operating techniques.
- Providing technical assistance for training operating areas on current technologies and new equipment and processes.
- Participating in continuous improvement teams for expansions, new product lines, and diversification.
- Managing automated inventory tracking systems for parts and equipment, including cycle counts and adjustments.
- Integrating parts and maintenance records within a centralized maintenance management system.
- Setting expectations and ensuring accountability for safety policies, food safety policies, and best practices daily.
- Overseeing the completion of safety work orders promptly as set by the maintenance manager.
Path for Success:
- Four-year college degree and/or relevant work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Familiarity with manufacturing controls, PLCs, VFDs, and electrical principles.
- Strong food safety and GMP awareness.
- Basic understanding of OSHA and safety procedures.
- Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
Salary Details:
- Annual salary of $85,000 - $95,000 with a 10% bonus.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including options for 100% employer-paid benefits.
- $2,000 signing bonus.
- This is an on-site NIGHT role based out of Sussex, WI.
