Northeast US (NY, CT, MA, VT, NH, ME, RI)

This entry-level Customer Manager position is responsible for achieving profitable sales growth for Mars business customers. The role involves maintaining strong relationships and delivering well-executed customer plans with a focus on: revenue, growth, profit, product/assortment, everyday shelving, merchandising, pricing, promotions, and seasonal merchandising.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing within FMCG / CPG industries
  • Fluent in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of forecasting processes, trade management, and syndicated data sources
  • Availability to travel 30-50% of the time with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Create and execute solutions that achieve customer objectives, category leadership, and company goals in profitability, sales growth, seasonal placement, shelving, merchandising, and pricing
  • Influence customers to implement solutions through fact-based presentations that deliver beneficial results for both the customer and Mars
  • Complete new product launches with timely and effective execution to maximize customer impact
  • Execute all agreed-upon solutions for customers with accurate and timely forecasting and detailed follow-through
  • Manage customer trade funds in compliance with internal and external requirements, continually improving spending effectiveness
  • Provide customers with category information, recommendations for growth, feedback, and potential solutions

The base pay range at the start of employment is expected to be between USD 85,880 and USD 118,087. The actual offer may vary depending on factors such as location, skills, and experience. The total compensation may include variable pay and allowances. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled in a 401(k) plan and company-sponsored health benefits, with up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Paid time off includes 120 hours of vacation, paid sick time, and 12 paid holidays.
