Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. in Burkesville, Kentucky is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team responsible for plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and equipment upkeep across our community.

You will manage daily work orders, schedule preventative maintenance, monitor budget, train staff, and respond to after-hours emergencies while delivering safe, courteous service to residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of direct technical work in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of maintenance staff and ensure safe work practices.
• Interview, train, and conduct performance reviews; handle disciplinary actions if needed.
• Delegate and complete preventive maintenance tasks; keep maintenance logs.
• Review and assign work orders; monitor timely completion.
• Conduct regular property inspections and monitor equipment upkeep.
• Participate in annual budget planning for maintenance and capital projects.
• Operate within budget and allocate funds for maintenance needs.
• Communicate professionally with management and staff; respond to guest concerns.
