Job summary

Liberty Diversified International in Minnesota seeks a Maintenance Manager – E&I to oversee a maintenance team and coordinate daily activities for process equipment and facilities. You will lead 4 mechanics and a team of contractors, manage safety programs, and drive reliability initiatives across electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical assets.

The role emphasizes developing procedures, evaluating personnel performance, and partnering with HR to address issues and promote growth.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or extensive applicable experience in a related role or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
• 7+ Industrial maintenance experience
• 3+ years previous experience in leading others
• Strong organization, time management and planning skills for coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team
• Self-motivated with good follow-up skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
• Strong decision-making ability and experience in handling workplace issues with professionalism and empathy
• Ability to interpret technical/blueprint drawings and specifications

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to the Maintenance team by maintaining safety standards and ensuring safety training is completed.
• Drives engagement and accountability to deliver results and encourages problem solving within the team.
• Leads, manages and mentors Mechanical Team members and coordinates with HR and Maintenance leadership for development.
• Oversees planning, coordination and execution of non-shutdown maintenance to optimize uptime and performance; manages budget and labor needs.
• Manages the Maintenance Work Order System with measurable metrics and efficiency goals.
• Reviews procurement of parts/services to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
• Maintains facilities infrastructure and training for team development; inputs on equipment modifications and spares.
