Job summary

Aspiring Maintenance Supervisor at Aspire Talent Solutions will lead a fully staffed maintenance team in a Lakewood, NJ manufacturing site. You will coach on the packaging lines, drive safety, and ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks on the floor.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong maintenance knowledge in regulated environments, and a focus on continuous improvement to maximize uptime. Day shift with potential flexibility to support operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree is required; bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
• At least five years of similar maintenance supervision experience in manufacturing.
• Pharmaceutical, consumer products, food, or beverage manufacturing experience.
• Experience working in FDA regulated manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Preventative maintenance programs and ticketing systems experience.
• Strong continuous improvement background, focused on increasing uptime and efficiencies.
• Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Coaching: Build a high-performing 24/7 maintenance team in packaging; mentor mechanics and escalate issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety policies; conduct field audits and manage safety expectations for contractors.
• Maintenance Planning & Operations: Schedule resources for packaging lines; validate work packages and ensure readiness for operations.
• Continuous Improvement & KPIs: Own safety and productivity KPIs; support Lean principles and root cause investigations.
• Work Flexibility: Be available to work any shift and weekends to support operations.
