Job summary

UniFirst seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the facility maintenance team and ensure equipment runs efficiently. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and manage schedules, budgets, and vendor relationships.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial repair, 2+ years of supervision, and strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems. This role requires safety focus and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience supervising maintenance personnel.
• Maintenance administration experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, vendor/parts management.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; welding and electrical knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective actions using manuals and blueprints.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and schedule repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility and production assets.
• Manage budget for building, equipment, and parts/labor with Production Manager.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate training and safety compliance.
