Job summary

Horizon Realty Advisors is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage all aspects of property maintenance, appearance, and service operations across our communities. You will lead the maintenance team, oversee service requests and unit turns, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety and budget adherence to keep the property well maintained.

The role requires 3–5 years of maintenance or facilities experience, a high school diploma or GED, and prior supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in property maintenance or facilities, or related field.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in student-style turn and turn preparation process preferred.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• HVAC Certification strongly preferred.
• CPO Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and support the Maintenance team, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance, service response times, and productivity.
• Complete and oversee service requests in a timely manner, ensuring quality work and resident satisfaction through follow-ups.
• Conduct unit inspections for move-in readiness and manage turn planning, including supply ordering, vendor coordination, and budget management.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance program and keep the maintenance shop organized and compliant with safety and OSHA standards.
