Horizon Realty Advisors LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Reno, NV to lead property maintenance operations. This full-time role blends hands-on repairs with team leadership, budget management, and vendor coordination to support a safe, well-maintained community.

You will supervise a maintenance team, oversee service requests, plan turns, and ensure compliance with safety standards while delivering resident satisfaction and cost-effective results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of experience in property maintenance, facilities, or related field.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in student-style turn and turn preparation process preferred.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• HVAC Certification strongly preferred.
• CPO Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and support the Maintenance team, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.
• Complete and oversee service requests in a timely manner, ensuring quality work and resident satisfaction.
• Conduct unit inspections for move-in readiness and manage turn planning, including supply ordering and budget management.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance program and keep the maintenance shop organized and compliant with safety and OSHA standards.
