Job summary

Creative-Werks is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to plan, organize, schedule, assign and review maintenance work. The role includes training and evaluating mechanics, managing overtime, and ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will oversee PM tasks, maintain inventory coordination, and collaborate with production to support daily operations, while enforcing company policies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• General Microsoft Office skills and experience in maintenance management software systems.
• Proficient with Excel for sorting data, adding/removing columns, updating data and making calculations.
• Excellent communication and delegation skills.
• Ability to investigate and diagnose causes of breakdowns—proactive vs reactive approach.
• Ability to gather and analyze data, anticipate business directions and make fact-based decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with aggressive deadlines.
• Be involved in interviewing, hiring, terminating mechanics on shift.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, schedule, assign and review maintenance work.
• Train, supervise and evaluate the work of assigned employees.
• Schedule mechanics for weekend and vacation coverage.
• Manage overtime usage and control.
• Track effectiveness of PMs and adjust PM tasks.
• Publish daily mechanic tasks based on priorities set by Operations Management.
• Ensure mechanics support Production personnel and provide a positive service.
• Enforce inspections of lines to determine maintenance and repair needs.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Maintenance Shop.
• Provide necessary tools and support for mechanics to be successful.
• Must be able to perform duties of a mechanic.
