Job summary

CRH is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage the maintenance workforce in our Napoleon, OH facility. You will coordinate daily tasks, ensure safe and efficient execution, and maintain accurate maintenance data and spare parts inventories.

Responsibilities include planning preventive maintenance, supervising technicians, and enforcing safety policies. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate with strong leadership in a plastic manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in plastic manufacturing supervisory role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to coach and develop a team of employees.
• Forklift/Crane certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience reading machine blueprints/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and communicates daily maintenance tasks based on priorities and ensures timely completion by Maintenance Technicians.
• Reviews compliance to planned work orders through maintenance software and reports status updates.
• Maintains accurate maintenance data, records, and inventory; purchases parts as needed.
• Ensures spare part lists are current and equipment is compatible with improvements.
• Maintains contact with production staff to ensure proper function and uptime.
• Develops standardized maintenance techniques and preventive procedures.
• Plans preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Addresses safety concerns and enforces safety regulations for staff and contractors.
• Oversees safety permits and trains new employees for ramp-up.
• Oversees site contractors and ensures safety and operational procedures.
• Respond to weekend calls and manage weekly shift coverage.
• Maintains attendance records and payroll data; communicates via handovers and reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
