Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to manage and coordinate the maintenance workforce, ensuring safe and efficient execution of all plant maintenance activities in Napoleon, OH. Role requires relocation willingness and leads maintenance tasks, data records, and safety compliance.

You will supervise technicians, work with production teams, and implement standardized procedures to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Clear written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) is expected.
• Experience with safety compliance and permit processes is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and communicate daily maintenance tasks for Technicians.
• Monitor compliance with work orders and report status to management.
• Maintain accurate maintenance data, records, POs and inventory.
• Ensure spare parts lists and equipment compatibility for reliability upgrades.
• Collaborate with production to ensure proper equipment function and timely maintenance.
• Develop standardized maintenance and preventive procedures to optimize efficiency.
• Schedule preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Identify and address safety concerns and enforce safety regulations for staff.
• Authorize and review safety permits for maintenance work and equipment.
• Train new employees on safety and technical basics for ramp-up.
• Supervise site contractors and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Handle weekend calls and organize weekly shift coverage and time-off.
• Maintain attendance records and payroll-related schedules.
• Communicate effectively via shift handovers, reports and emails.
