Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance workforce at our Napoleon, OH facility. This role focuses on safe, efficient execution of machine and facility maintenance activities, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring timely completion.

The supervisor will review work orders, maintain records, and uphold safety and reliability standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, supervisory experience, and a background in plastics

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years experience in plastic manufacturing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to coach, develop and build a strong team of employees
• Clear communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to read machine blueprints/schematics and use hand tools

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance tasks based on priorities and ensure timely completion
• Review compliance to work orders and report status to management
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and spare parts inventories
• Ensure equipment compatibility and implement preventive maintenance procedures
• Coordinate with production staff for proper equipment operation and maintenance
• Schedule preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Address safety concerns and enforce safety regulations for staff and contractors
• Oversee site contractors and ensure adherence to procedures
• Respond to weekend calls and manage staff scheduling and payroll data
• Provide safety and technical training for new employees
