Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, seeks a 1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at our Napoleon, OH facility, ensuring safe and reliable equipment operation. The role emphasizes prioritizing tasks, coordinating with technicians, and upholding safety standards.

Qualified candidates bring 3+ years in plastics/manufacturing maintenance, supervisory experience, and strong skills in electrical, hydraulic systems, welding, and blueprints.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in plastic manufacturing industry.
• Ability to coach, develop and build a strong team of employees.
• Forklift and Crane Certification or ability to obtain.
• Welding skills preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Review and understand machine blueprints/schematics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and communicates daily maintenance tasks with high priority.
• Ensure timely and efficient completion by Maintenance Technicians.
• Review compliance to planned work orders and report status to management.
• Maintain up-to-date maintenance data, records, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure spare parts lists exist and installations are reliable.
• Maintain contact with production staff to ensure equipment function.
• Develop and implement standardized maintenance techniques and PM procedures.
• Plan and schedule preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Identify and address safety concerns; enforce safety regulations.
• Authorize and review safety permits related to equipment maintenance.
• Provide training for new employees and ramp-up into maintenance roles.
• Oversee site contractors and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Respond to weekend calls and organize weekly schedules.
• Maintain attendance and payroll data; communicate via various channels.
• Other duties as assigned.
