Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance workforce at our Napoleon, OH facility. You will plan daily tasks for Technicians, oversee safety, manage spare parts, and ensure reliable equipment performance.

The role requires 3+ years in plastic manufacturing with supervisory experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate across teams. Willingness to relocate with assistance is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in plastic manufacturing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to coach, develop and build a strong team
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Welding skills preferred
• Electrical and hydraulic systems knowledge
• Review and understand machine blueprints/schematics
• Experience with basic math and measurements

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily maintenance tasks for Technicians
• Monitor compliance via maintenance software and report status to management
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and spare parts inventory
• Ensure compatibility of equipment with reliability improvements
• Communicate with production staff to ensure smooth operations
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance techniques
• Schedule preventative and predictive maintenance activities
• Address safety concerns and enforce safety regulations
• Manage safety permits for equipment maintenance
• Train new employees on safety and technical procedures
• Supervise site contractors and ensure safety/ops compliance
• Coordinate weekend calls and weekly schedules for staff
• Maintain attendance and payroll data and manage shift coverage
• Communicate with staff via meetings, emails, and other channels
• Assist with other duties as needed
