Job summary

TRG Management in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee on-site maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds. You will lead the maintenance team, coordinate preventive tasks, inspect market-ready apartments, and respond to service requests promptly to keep the community in top condition.

The role requires hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC, with supervisory responsibilities and a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum three years’ hands-on maintenance experience in buildings.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to lift and work with heavy equipment.
• EPA or CFC certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds.
• Acts as team leader, delegating, supervising, and directing maintenance staff.
• Inspects market-ready apartments and common areas for repairs.
• Responds to resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Performs on-call emergency maintenance as needed.
• Monitors mechanical equipment including water heaters and HVAC units.
• Ensures safety compliance and adherence to Fair Housing Laws.
