Bryten in Mesa, AZ is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance operations at Peralta Vista. You will supervise the maintenance team, prioritize service requests, and ensure safety and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include HVAC, plumbing, electrical repairs, inspections, vendor coordination, and maintaining records. A valid HVAC/CPO certification and prior supervisory experience are required to keep the community well-maintained and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or vocational training required.
• Three or more years of building, facilities, apartment, or property maintenance experience, including supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• HVAC certification and/or trade certifications in electrical, plumbing, or related fields required.
• Ability to read diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, and safety documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Customer service mindset with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, contractors, and team members.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Leading, scheduling, training, and supporting maintenance team members.
• Coordinating and prioritizing service requests, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Overseeing apartment make-ready operations and vacant-home readiness.
• Performing and supervising repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and building systems.
• Conducting inspections of homes, areas, and grounds to ensure quality standards.
• Coordinating with vendors and management on operations and capital projects.
• Maintaining maintenance records, inventory, and work orders.
• Responding to emergency maintenance and participating in on-call rotation.
• Ensuring OSHA compliance and safety regulations, and promoting a safe community environment.
