Job summary

Applicants should have 2 years as a Maintenance Supervisor and 4 years in property management or multifamily maintenance, with HVAC and pool certs or willingness to obtain within one year. On-site leadership essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor and 4 years in property management and/or multifamily maintenance.
• Experience in all areas of maintenance and repair for residential buildings.
• Experience using maintenance equipment and tools.
• Dependable with a good history of job performance.
• Basic record keeping and filing reports.
• Basic set of hand tools for routine duties.
• Valid driver’s license.
• HVAC and pool certification or willingness to obtain within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Direct maintenance staff and scheduling of contractors.
• Oversee preventative and capital programs and repairs.
• Prepare and adhere to budget guidelines.
• Schedule and manage maintenance coverage at the community.
• Inspect and maintain building components, including roofs.
• Manage apartment turnover process.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Handle emergency calls and on-call support.
• Collaborate with General Manager on resident relations and projects.
• Ensure timely, courteous completion of work orders.
• Maintain shop and storage areas in a clean, secure manner.
