POAH Communities is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Chicago, IL to lead day-to-day maintenance at Mattie Butler Apartments. You will supervise staff, ensure code-compliant repairs, and coordinate work orders with the Property Manager.

Experience in multifamily maintenance, strong problem-solving, and proficiency with Yardi and MS Office are required. This role involves hands-on work and occasional travel as needed.

Formación

• 3–5 years of direct experience in property management or related fields.
• Proficiency with computers and mobile devices; Yardi experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and vendor relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Property Manager by repairing and maintaining building conditions to codes and HUD standards.
• Manage work orders in Yardi and complete them within 24 hours of submission.
• Maintain safety and health practices, protecting assets and residents.
• Handle resident inquiries professionally and maintain positive relations.
• Collaborate with regional teams, technicians, and vendors to improve operations.
