Job summary

NRP Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead apartment community maintenance, coordinate preventative work, and ensure curb appeal. The role requires 5+ years in maintenance for multifamily properties, CFC certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Yardi.

You will oversee service requests, coordinate turns, manage inventory, and work with the Community Manager on safety and budget planning. This is an on‑site position with a focus on reliability and team leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CFC Universal Certification; sufficient knowledge to thoroughly complete maintenance assessment up to the standard of a Maintenance Supervisor
• Experience: At least 5+ years of maintenance and repair for apartment communities
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi experience preferred
• Other Requirements: Reliable transportation for essential job functions

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all aspects of maintenance of the community
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and janitorial services
• Maintain accurate records for reporting and policy compliance
• Walk the property daily to uphold curb appeal and safety
• Coordinate apartment turns and renovations in move‑out periods
• Monitor operating expenses and suggest cost‑saving measures
• Manage inventory and supply logs; ensure timely purchases
• Advise on capital improvements and annual budget needs
• Coordinate contracted services; solicit bids and track invoices
• Complete service requests and turnovers per policy
• Oversee use of major tools and equipment; ensure safety compliance
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and safety training
