Job summary

NRP Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, you will perform general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping services to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes, while responding to customer service requests.

Must be EPA Certified; responsibilities include preventative maintenance, refurbishing apartments, safety reporting, and coordinating with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification within 90 days of hire
• 3–4 years of maintenance experience
• EPA/CFC Universal Certification required or achieved within 90 days
• Computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assigned
• Maintain storage area and maintenance materials
• Refurbish and renovate apartments per company standards
• Walk property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartments
• Notify Community Manager of safety concerns; participate in safety meetings
• Apply knowledge of property-specific problems such as asbestos
• Perform other duties as required; maintain accurate records
