Job summary

CRM Residential in New Jersey is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee facility upkeep and repairs. You will supervise staff, prioritize work orders, and ensure safety and compliance while keeping equipment in good working order.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with three years of supervisory maintenance experience; HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry knowledge a plus. The role requires strong leadership and communication, and a live-in unit option is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Three years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Familiarity with HVAC and various appliances.
• Working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall.
• Ability to supervise, teach, and motivate staff.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies.
• Valid Driver's License/Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff.
• Prioritize work orders.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Know the current condition of all vacant apartments.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repairs.
• Order and maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff.
• Communicate with other departments to coordinate maintenance work.
