Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily apartment maintenance, ensure safety, and uphold company standards.

You will supervise a team, perform hands-on work, inspect properties, prioritize requests, and coordinate with the property manager to keep residents satisfied. A high school diploma and 2+ years of experience required, with HVAC/plumbing knowledge and relevant certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance.
• Proven experience in supervising and leading a maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team and staff.
• Work hands-on with staff in all maintenance areas.
• Inspect apartments, common areas, and amenities for issues.
• Prioritize and complete maintenance requests promptly.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff for professional growth.
• Order and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with property manager to sustain resident satisfaction.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe workplace.
