Job summary

The Chester Apartments in Avon, OH is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, oversee work orders, and ensure units and community facilities remain in good condition.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma and 3+ years of progressively responsible maintenance experience, plus strong leadership and communication skills to train staff and manage on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of progressive maintenance experience in residential or commercial settings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and staff development skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair light electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversees work orders from receipt to completion and delegates tasks to the maintenance team.
• Assists with routine, preventative, and critical repairs across systems and units.
• Ensures vacant units are ready for occupancy and maintains property standards.
• Provides updates to Property Manager, Regional Manager, and VP of Operations.
• Coordinates third-party vendors and assists in trainingMaintenance Technicians.
