Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervisory experience in maintenance/engineering.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills.
• Ability to create and mentor a team.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, appliances, water heaters, chillers/boilers; HVAC certification required.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of Maintenance staff including delegation of work orders and time management.
• Inspection and oversight of existing and completed work orders.
• Oversee HVAC, boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliances and service requests.
• Mentor and train maintenance staff.
• Assist in interviewing and selecting new team members.
• Provide energy management recommendations for the building.
• Identify capital improvements and obtain estimates/bids.
• Assist in budget preparation for maintenance expenses.
