Job summary

Cintas Corporation in Macomb, MI is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead all maintenance activities across facilities. You will manage and schedule maintenance work, drive preventive maintenance, and implement safety processes for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

The role requires 5+ years in an industrial maintenance setting, 2+ years in supervision, and strong knowledge of blueprints and maintenance management systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience.
• Equipment knowledge: wiring, electrical, electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery.
• Maintenance management experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, negotiating, parts management, vendor management and with maintenance management systems.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with blueprints and ability to read blueprints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and intranet/internet.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours of an 8 hour shift.
• Ability to be on call 24 hours per day.
• High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities at our facilities and coordinate all maintenance work assignments.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and safety procedures.
• Manage budgets for building, equipment, parts, and labor; prepare maintenance reports.
• Train, supervise, and mentor maintenance staff; respond to emergencies and staffing needs.
