Job summary

Cintas Corporation seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead all maintenance activities at our facilities in Michigan. You will improve functionality and reliability of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and oversee scheduling, budgets, and safety programs.

The role requires supervising a maintenance team, coordinating preventative maintenance, and negotiating with suppliers. You will train staff, respond to emergencies, and ensure staffing levels are appropriate for on-call

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of wiring, electrical, electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery.
• Maintenance management experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, vendor management and maintenance systems.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English and blueprints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and intranet/internet.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours of an 8 hour shift; on-call 24 hours.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance activities across facilities to improve functionality and reliability.
• Manage and schedule facility and equipment work assignments and preventive maintenance.
• Develop and implement safety processes and procedures; manage budgets.
• Prepare maintenance reports and evaluate parts suppliers; negotiate with service companies.
• Conduct training for maintenance staff; supervise and mentor the team; respond to emergencies.
• Maintain staffing levels and monitor on-call requirements.
