Job summary

RRD is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee installation and maintenance of production machinery, facilities and safety compliance across offices, production and grounds. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians, coordinate vendors, and work with leadership to optimize downtime and expenses.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, PLC, and computer systems, plus strong Microsoft Excel skills and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years supervising experience and performing electro-mechanical maintenance of high-speed automated industrial machinery.
• Strong knowledge of electrical (24V DC to 480V AC), electronic (PLC I/O) and computer (software, hardware, networking) systems.
• Demonstrated ability to foster safety, inclusion and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day maintenance of production machinery, equipment, and facilities; informs Manufacturing Manager of issues.
• Directly supervises and coaches maintenance technicians; provides training and development feedback.
• Manages vendors/contractors working on facility and equipment; ensures compliance and performance.
• Assists technicians with advanced troubleshooting, particularly electrical, PLC, and computer issues.
• Maintains and improves maintenance programs using HxGN EAM and office software; analyzes trends to optimize downtime.
• Collaborates with leadership to ensure safety, security, and compliance within the facility.
