Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to lead maintenance planning and the coordination of the maintenance department at our facility. You will organize activities related to physical maintenance and sanitation of property and capital equipment.

The role covers supervising skilled trades, managing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment uptime while upholding safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• 4 years' experience in poultry maintenance or food manufacturing.
• Experience with processing equipment.
• Working knowledge of refrigeration.
• Working knowledge of PLCs.
• Haz-Mat team qualified or able to become.
• Strong communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance planning and scheduling for the facility.
• Supervises painting, structural repairs, and building utility systems.
• Maintains plant equipment with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Directs ground maintenance and custodial services as needed.
• Ensures safety policies and training are followed.
