Brookside Properties in Smyrna, TN is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our multifamily maintenance team. This hands-on leadership role requires HVAC expertise, EPA certification, and a track record of supervising apartment maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment/multifamily maintenance supervisory experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Strong hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general property maintenance.
• Ability to lead a team and prioritize multiple projects.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, professional, and committed to excellent resident service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily maintenance operations
• Supervise, coach, and support the onsite maintenance team
• Prioritize and complete resident service requests and repairs
• Coordinate apartment turns and make-readies to support occupancy goals
• Perform and oversee preventative maintenance and property inspections
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and other building systems
• Coordinate outside contractors and vendors
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-maintained community
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations
• Participate in an emergency on-call rotation as needed
