Job summary

Brookside Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for the Smyrna, TN area. The role requires hands-on leadership with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.

You will lead a maintenance team, handle resident service requests, and coordinate contractor work to meet occupancy goals. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of apartment/multifamily supervisory experience and EPA certification, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment/multifamily maintenance supervisory experience.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general property maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily maintenance operations
• Supervise, coach, and support the onsite maintenance team
• Prioritize and complete resident service requests and repairs
• Coordinate apartment turns and make-readies to support occupancy goals
• Perform and oversee preventative maintenance and property inspections
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and other building systems
• Coordinate outside contractors and vendors
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-maintained community
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations
• Participate in an emergency on-call rotation as needed
